Brain will be part of a panel titled “Essential Project Leadership in Navigating an Evolving Regulatory Landscape in Asia-Pacific" and will address Balancing Unity and Individuality: Leadership Skills for Managing Culturally Divergent Clinical Teams.
The one-hour panel is part of the DIA 2018 Global Annual Meeting, which brings together thousands of innovators, global decision-makers, and influencers for a conference that connects key policy discussions with real-world knowledge.
This session will outline changes of regulatory landscape and requirements in representing developed and developing markets in Japan, discussing regenerative medicine and orphan drug development, and in Southeast Asia, discussing regulatory changes in clinical trial review and approval. Brian’s presentation focuses on “soft skills” necessary for effective clinical and other project management in AsiaPAC countries, including lessons learned from a contact research organization with an office in Japan (Biorasi).
Brian is a member of the Life Sciences group, where he combines food and drug and patent law with experience in clinical trials in international locations. Brian has worked for both innovator and generic/biosimilar life science companies.
